Who we are

TopMark is a mobile app provided by MAIQ Solutions (“we”, “us”, “our”). TopMark helps tutors, coaches and club leaders take attendance registers and record payments for their classes and clubs. Questions about this policy or your data: info@maiq.solutions.

The information we handle

1. Your account. When you create an account we collect your email address, used to sign you in and secure your data.

2. The register information you enter. As you use TopMark you add information about your classes and their members, which may include member names and optional group labels (these members may be children), attendance records, payment records (amounts, categories, dates), and any notes you add. You enter this to run your own registers. Where members are other people (including children), you are responsible for having a lawful basis and any necessary consent to record their information, and TopMark processes it on your behalf.

How we use it

Solely to provide the app’s features — creating classes, taking registers, tracking attendance and recording payments — and to keep your account secure. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising, and TopMark contains no third-party advertising or analytics tracking.

Where it’s stored and how it’s protected

• Stored in a secure database hosted in the European Union (Ireland) by our provider, Supabase, and synchronised to your device by our sync provider, PowerSync (also EU).
• A copy is kept on your device so the app works offline; this local copy is protected by your device’s built-in security.
• Data is isolated per account — one user can never see another’s.
• Information is encrypted in transit using standard secure (HTTPS/TLS) connections.

Sharing

We share data only with the providers that run the app: Supabase (database & sign-in, EU), PowerSync (offline sync, EU), and Apple (app distribution, including this TestFlight beta). We don’t share it with anyone else except where required by law.

How long we keep it

As long as your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and its data at any time via info@maiq.solutions, and we’ll remove it.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can access, correct or request deletion of your personal data, object to or restrict its processing, and receive a copy. Contact info@maiq.solutions. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

Children

TopMark is intended for use by adults (tutors, coaches, club leaders). Members recorded in the app may be children; those records are entered and controlled by the account holder, who is responsible for handling children’s information lawfully.

Changes

We may update this policy; the “last updated” date above shows when it last changed.
